Scotland
On a trip to Glasgow I took the chance to capture moments around Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Highlands. I used both my DSLR and my iPhone to capture the images below.
Street Photography
Assisting a fellow photographer on one of her projects, we ventured around Birmingham city centre approaching a range of different people to take pictures of to display the variety of those around Birmingham.
Wales
During a trip to Wales I was able to experiment in territories I wasn't familiar with to help gain more experience in photography. I was able to shoot landscapes, architectural, portraits and some areal photography with my drone.
Urban Devotion Birmingham
I was honoured to be asked to photograph Urban Devotion Birmingham's charity evening in Birmingham city centre. The event was to showcase the work of UDB and how much the communities support has helped the team grow and bring a better life for the youth in Birmingham.
Get Rich Only Studio
During second year at university, I had a fashion photography module in which I had to find my own designer and models to create a photography campaign for them. I worked with Get Rich Only in the studio to offer something that has never been done for them as all their other photography was done on location.
Projection Project
A friend of mine wanted to experiment with combining media and art and wanted to look into overlaying images to create new ones. Together we wanted to create an overlaid picture without post production needed. For this I projected images onto her whilst she modelled.
Fine Art Architecture
For my photography module in first year we were given the task to take 10 photographs all under the same genre showcasing a specific aspect of your city. I chose to explore the architecture of Birmingham and I looked into fine art architecture photography.
Great Barr Open Day
Myself and a fellow student had our first project with Great Barr where we were both asked to come in on the year 7 induction day to take pictures and created a video promoting the day. The pictures and video were showcased to the parents and year 7 students and will be used in future assemblies. I was really proud to help out with the new revamp of the school turing into an academy.
Social Issue Campaign
These are images from a social issue campaign I created whilst in year 12. The issue I chose to focus on was the pressure put on students. I felt this was a topic that was relatable to everyone as I feel the pressure students has been getting worse over time. The images were both taken in the same location on the same day and edited on Photoshop to add the text and the logo. These are some of my favourite photographs as I feel they are up to a professional standard.
